Happy Monday my lovies, hope you all had a wonderful weekend and how was Father’s day on your side? The highlight of the weekend for me was in church, the Sunday school topic was about the man being the head of the home and the most interesting part was when a question was asked about owning a joint account with your spouse.
Summer is here, yaay! To everyone that have worked on their summer body till date, I say well done to you all and to some of us that have managed not to keep food out of our mouths, I say more power to our elbows. Lol
Some few weeks ago, one of my instagram buddies posted catfish pepper soup and tagged me. Her picture got me drooling and craving. I told her I was going to make mine….. Anyway, long story short, I made catfish pepper soup that night under the pretence that it would help my cold at the time.
This recipe is simply a medley of fried plantain and gizzard. I was about making this when I realised I could add one of my favourite beef part to the recipe. The end result was amazing; imagine having all what you love in your mouth all at once. Giz-dodo is a popular side dish served at events and homes.
Hello lovies, hope you all had a good week? Here is a quick recipe for the weekend. If you are a lover of pasta and spaghetti, then this one is for you. You can even prepare your indomie noodles with this super easy recipe too. My friend (Imimi) always make this food while we were in school, she would cook her spaghetti jollof with tomato puree and chilli and I tell you it was the bomb.
I’ve always wanted to make my own chilli sauce for a long while now but I kept procrastinating. I went into my local store recently and it seems the whole shop was filled with nothing but sweet chilli sauce. The corner shop close to mine wasn’t left out either, they had it on sale. I told myself I am not buying it ever again.
