Plantain Fufu

Ingredients

  • 2 unripe plantains
  • Water
  • Blender

Instructions

  • Cut plantain into smaller sizes to aid peeling
  • Put sliced and peeled plantain in a blender, add water and puree till smooth
  • Transfer the plantain puree into a pan, place on medium heat and stir with a wooden ladle.
  • The plantain should feel stretchy at a point and the colour slightly darker. You will know when the plantain fufu is fully cooked. It should take roughly about 3- 4 minutes.
  • Serve plantain fufu with Nigerian soup of choice.
