Ingredients
4Red bell pepperTatashe
8medium size tomatoes substitute with 400g canned tomato plum
1large onionabout 1 cup roughly chopped onions
Scotch bonnet (use as desired)
Garlicoptional
Gingeroptional
Instructions
Rinse the ingredients above and cut to manageable chunks
Add the roughly chopped peppers and onions to a blender, add little water and blend till puree.
Use the pepper mix directly for your dishes or boil the pepper mixture over medium heat for about 10 to 20 minutes to reduce the amount of water in it.
Notes
Nigerian pepper mix can be stored in the fridge for up to 5 days when boiled and up to 6 months in the freezer
